Terms of Service
- By creating an account you agree to these terms. TagTalk lets users post public messages, ratings, and tags tied to license plates.
- Be civil: no harassment, threats, hate speech, spam, or posting someone's private information. Anonymous or not, we log who posted what and moderate accordingly.
- You keep ownership of what you post, but you grant us a license to display it in the app. We may remove content and suspend or ban accounts that break these rules.
- Purchases (Lifetime unlock, Monthly subscription) are billed by Google Play and subject to Google Play's terms and refund policies.
- The service is provided "as is". We moderate user content but are not responsible for what users post. We may change or discontinue features at any time.
- You can delete your account at any time — see Account & Data Deletion.
Who we are
TagTalk is developed by Chaotic Game Studios. This policy explains
what personal information we collect from you when you use the TagTalk mobile app,
how we use it, and the choices you have.
Information we collect
- Account info — your name, email address, and profile picture provided by Google Sign‑In.
- Vehicle info you enter — license plate, state, make, model, color, and any photos you upload.
- Messages, tags, and ratings you leave on other plates.
- Purchase records — Google Play purchase tokens used to verify your unlock status. We never see or store your payment card.
- Basic technical data — device model, OS version, and crash logs, used only to keep the app stable.
- Advertising identifiers — a resettable Google Advertising ID, used by Google AdMob to serve banner ads to non‑paying users.
How we use your information
- To operate the core service (searching plates, storing your garage, delivering messages).
- To verify purchases with Google Play and unlock your inbox.
- To moderate abusive content and enforce our community rules.
- To respond to your support requests.
- To display ads via Google AdMob to users who have not purchased an unlock.
Anonymous messages
When you choose to send a message anonymously, your name is hidden from the recipient
and from other users. However, we always record who you are internally so we can
moderate abusive content and comply with law enforcement requests when legally required.
Sharing
We do not sell your personal information. We share limited data only with:
- Google (for Sign‑In, Play Billing, and AdMob) — governed by
Google's Privacy Policy.
- Our hosting providers (IONOS — app servers; MongoDB Atlas — database) — used strictly to run the app.
- Law enforcement, when required by a valid legal request.
Advertising
TagTalk shows banner ads to users on the free tier via Google AdMob. AdMob
uses your device's Advertising ID and general device data to serve relevant ads. You can
reset or opt out of personalized ads at any time in your device's Google settings under
Ads → Delete Advertising ID. Paying users (Lifetime or active Monthly subscription)
do not see any ads.
Your choices
- Delete a vehicle at any time from your Garage — associated messages remain but are unlinked.
- Request full account deletion by emailing us at
support@tagtalk.chaoticgamestudios.com.
We will remove your account, vehicles, and outgoing messages within 30 days.
- Manage subscription renewal directly in the Google Play Store.
- Reset your Advertising ID in your device's Google settings to limit ad personalization.
Data retention
We keep your data for as long as your account is active. If you request deletion we
remove personal data within 30 days, except where a longer retention is required for
legal, tax, or fraud‑prevention purposes.
Children
TagTalk is not directed to children under 13. If you believe we have collected
information from a child, contact us and we will delete it.
Changes
We may update this policy occasionally. Material changes will be surfaced in the app.
Continued use of TagTalk after changes take effect means you accept the updated policy.
